PKIDS has many resources for parents whose children have chronic hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV and other infectious diseases. They also support a chat forum that is open on Tuesdays. The chats are currently geared toward parents.

The webpage for the chats is at: www.pkids.org/vc_livechats.php PKIDS also has a moderated chat with an expert every few months. Watch their website at www.pkids.org for information on this activity. You can go to their Virtual Connections webpage at: www.pkids.org/virtual_connections.php It lists and links to the listserv, forums, chats, blog, and a podcast which is in the process of development. The link for the parent listserv is at: www.pkids.org/vc_listservs.php

PKIDS provides a listserv that communicates via email. At the bottom of the page, it notes that we are starting forums for kids and teens. The forums page is at: www.pkids.org/vc_forums.php

The difference between the two is that the listserv is strictly via email, but the forums are more like an online community, so the members go to the forum website when they want to communicate with the other forum members.
